The focus of the Bridge Art Fair is on emerging and new contemporary work in all media. During a blustery week in February, seventy of the nation’s most prominent art dealers gathered to exhibit paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and photographs by artists of all periods at the twentieth annual The Art Show. Organized by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), the exhibition ran from February 21 through February 25, 2008, at the Seventh Regiment Armory, Park Avenue at 67th Street. The Art Show Gala Preview on February 20 and regular show admissions raised $1.5 million to benefit Henry Street Settlement , one of New York City’s oldest and most comprehensive social service agencies.
